Fast

Fast Installation

Your project saves on labour and equipment costs. Screw piles are installed in minutes, not days. Building starts immediately after the last pile is in.

Easy

No Large-Scale Earthworks

You skip excavation, frost insulation, drainage, and casting. Fewer work phases mean fewer risks, lower costs, and a simpler project.

Effortless Handling

Inexpensive to Transport and Store

Screw piles are compact and stackable. Your logistics costs stay low, and storage on site is straightforward even in tight spaces.

Easy to Transport

Ideal for Remote Locations

Lightweight piles fit on standard transport. You reach difficult sites without heavy machinery convoys or special access roads.

Saves Material

High Load Capacity Saves Pile Length

Up to 1,000 kN per pile. The helix transfers load directly to bearing soil, so you need fewer and shorter piles for your structure.

One Visit

Often Requires Only One Site Visit

Installation, load verification, and handover completed in a single mobilisation. Your project timeline shrinks and coordination stays simple.

Light Equipment

Compact Installation Machinery

Your site stays accessible. Small excavators with hydraulic drive heads handle the installation, reducing ground pressure and site impact.

Environmentally Friendly

Your Site Stays Clean and Undamaged

Zero concrete, zero excavation waste. The environment around your foundation remains intact. 100% removable and recyclable steel.

  • Buildings and Industrial Construction: Industrial and commercial buildings, warehouses and halls, modular and prefabricated building structures, air-supported structures (air domes), temporary buildings and site facilities

Machine-Installed Foundation

PRO series piles are installed using hydraulic drive heads mounted on excavators or dedicated piling rigs. The drive head rotates the pile into the ground while applying controlled downward pressure. Your installation crew monitors torque values in real time, verifying load capacity during the installation process.

  • Installation with excavators from 1.5 to 30+ tonnes
  • Hydraulic drive heads from 1,300 Nm to 150,000 Nm torque
  • Real-time torque monitoring and load verification
  • Typical installation rate: 20 to 100+ piles per day
  • Works in clay, sand, silt, peat, and soft ground conditions

Manual Install

Install It Yourself

You do not need heavy machinery or professional crews. One or two people install HELIX piles by hand or with a standard electric drill. Your project stays in your control.

Quick

Foundation Ready in Hours

A typical terrace foundation takes 2 to 4 hours. You start building the same day. No waiting for concrete to cure, no scheduling excavation equipment.

2nd Generation

Cast Steel Head

Our 2nd generation HELIX features a cast steel head that cuts through soil and navigates roots better than traditional models. More durable than traditional helices, with better grip and higher stability for your finished foundation.

No Concrete

Clean, Zero-Waste Installation

No mixing, no pouring, no mess. Your garden and yard stay undamaged. Remove and reuse the piles if you ever change your plans.

Durable

50-Year Galvanized Protection

Hot zinc galvanization protects every pile against corrosion for decades. Your foundation lasts as long as your structure, guaranteed for 50 years.

Available Everywhere

Available through Local Distributors

HELIX piles available through your local Paalupiste distributor. No distributor in your country? Contact us directly. Short lead time.

Adjustable

Level Foundation on Uneven Ground

Screw depth is adjustable. You compensate for slopes and uneven terrain by simply screwing each pile to the right height. Your structure sits level.

Versatile

Brackets for Every Structure Type

A full range of brackets and adapters connects your pile to timber, steel, or concrete. Your design options stay open from the start.

  • Residential and Housing Construction: Garden sheds, carports and auxiliary buildings, decks and terraces, piers, docks and small waterfront structures, DIY and small contractor projects
  • Holiday and Cabin Construction: Holiday cabins and cabin developments, sauna platforms, outdoor living spaces
  • Technical Structures: Fencing and gates, shelters and protective canopies, advertising and information structures, lighting poles

Your HELIX foundation is ready in 3 simple steps. No heavy equipment, no concrete curing. Install by hand with the included SR100 kit or with a standard electric drill for faster results.

1

Create a Pilot Hole and Position the Pile

Begin by creating a pilot hole using a crowbar. Place the HELIX pile vertically into the hole and turn it clockwise using a crowbar or the SR100 installation kit with two people working together.

2

Tighten the Pile and Set to Level

Apply the SR100 installation kit with two people or use an electric pile driver. Tighten the pile into the ground until it reaches solid bearing soil. Check level across all piles and adjust depth as needed. Attach the bracket on top of each pile.

3

Attach the Bracket and Start Building

Once all piles are set and levelled, attach your chosen bracket or adapter on top. Start building your frame structure immediately. No drying time, no curing, no waiting.
